Who We Are
Right then! Pull up a chair, and let us tell you a bit about ourselves. We are Acryptum Games, a UK-based games development studio founded on the belief that gaming should be about discovery, challenge, and, above all, fun.
And I’m Alistair, the founder of Acryptum Games. I’ve always been fascinated by how games worked – that incredible mix of storytelling, art, and pure technical wizardry. While I love directing games from the ground up, I also love getting my hands dirty, figuring out the puzzles of coding to try and get those mechanics and visuals working just right.
But beyond the tech, what really gets me excited is the feeling games can give you – that buzz of discovery when you find something hidden, the satisfaction of finally cracking a tough challenge, or getting completely lost exploring a new world.
For too long, I felt the gaming landscape had become predictable. The world doesn’t need another cookie cutter FPS. At Acryptum Games we wanted to offer something a little bit different. That’s where the “Acryptum” part of our name comes in. We’re drawn to the slightly mysterious, the intriguing, the unexplored corners of game design. We’re not afraid to take the road less travelled, to experiment, and to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Our mission at Acryptum Games is simple, but ambitious: to craft high-quality games that stick with you. We want to create:
